There are load and loads of freeware scattered all though out the web today, but it’s has it’s downside as well – how do you know the legit from the scammer? How to you know if it works well or not? These are just some of the questions people as when they look for information on freeware on the web.

The key here is simply to research, research, and research. You just need to find sites that hose reviews of freeware and read these reviews carefully. Many of these sites recommend a list of recommended applications and you can make the highest rated ones your shortlist and discriminate and choose by reading individual comments from past users and downloaders.

You can also take it a step further by joining online communities and discussion boards that further dissect these freeware apps.
