I recently bought two hard drives for use as external storage. Now the task of formatting is upon me. But being high capacity drives (one is 500GB while the other is a huge 1 terabtye hard drive), my only option is to format it using NTFS in Windows 7. But if you need to format drives these big in Fat32, you won’t get that choice. You can do it in the command line but not many people are comfortable with this method. What you need to do is to download the free fat32format utility that makes formatting large drives to Fat32 easy. You can download a version that has a GUI, which makes it very easy to use
